Together with Intesa Sanpaolo, Italy’s leading banking group, they are reaching out and encouraging all Italian researchers who currently work in the US or Canada to submit applications for the co-sponsored ‘Intesa Sanpaolo Award for Innovation & Circular Economy’.

ISSNAF, chaired by Luca Escoffier, and Intesa Sanpaolo, believe it’s imperative that we re-think how the global economy works and re-design the way we make things. This award will be dedicated to projects showing the highest potential or execution of the regenerative and restorative principles inherent if a circular economy is to be successful.

All award applications must be submitted by May 15th, 2017, and the eligible projects will be selected by a review board comprised of specifically selected international experts. Five successful candidates will then present their projects at a dedicated event on 20th June 2017, hosted by Intesa Sanpaolo Hub in New York. The winner, or winning team, will receive a certificate of acknowledgement for their efforts, but more importantly, a monetary prize of USD3,000.

This is an opportunity offered by two institutions who are intent on bolstering a collective effort to seek and promote concrete, scalable opportunities which will accelerate the transition to a circular economy.
